Welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Jennie, I am also known as "The Flower Lady or Farmer Jennie". The story of River Road Flowers is simple one, what started as a garden that grew in size every year is now a small farm, often called a "farmette". As the garden grew so did the bills and I needed to either scale way back or find a way to generate some revenue and just like that River Road Flowers was formed.
River Road Flowers is a seasonal farm, meaning we grow fresh cut flowers April - October and offer dried flowers and wreaths October - April. I document my journey through the seasons on my social media pages (you can find me on Instagram and Facebook). As a one woman show I do everything with our flowers from starting the seeds to scrubbing the buckets when the orders are done for the week. I am there for every step.
It's not all fun and flower filled days as I have a full time off farm job (for all the adult things, bills, insurance, ect) but you can bet if it's above freezing and I'm not at the day job I'm digging in the dirt.
